You may need to login to the root user for some reason. Instead of making your account a root account, you can login to the root account like any other account on your mac by following these simple steps.

1. Logout/Goto the login window

2. If you display your login window by “List of users”, click on “Other” and enter root as the username AND password.

3. Login.

4. Hug yourself.

5. Brag about it.

6. Tell everybody macs rule.

WordPress 2.8.2 fixes an XSS vulnerability. Comment author URLs were not fully sanitized when displayed in the admin. This could be exploited to redirect you away from the admin to another site.  Download 2.8.2 or automatically upgrade from the Tools->Upgrade page of your blog’s admin.
